On Tuesday, September 17, the Federal Real Property Association (FRPA) will host its annual Congressional Federal Real Property Forum.
In recent years, Congress has played an important leadership role in all aspects of Federal real property, including leasing, space utilization, and disposition of underutilized Federal property. At the Congressional Federal Real Property Forum, members of Congress and key committee staff will discuss the priorities for managing Federal real estate that have been established under this Congress. The discussion will focus on the implementation of recent real property legislation, such as the Federal Assets Sale and Transfer Act (FASTA), and describe the latest efforts between the Administration and the Congress to reform Federal real property management.
Featured presenters will include members of Congress and key staff from the House and Senate oversight committees, appropriations, and other committees of jurisdiction.
